Lindsey Quirk, LPC, CSAC (She/Her/Hers)
Director of Operations
Lindsey Quirk is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Substance Abuse Counselor in the state of Virginia. She completed a Bachelor of Science degree in 2007 from the University of Maryland at College Park in Family Sciences. She then went on to obtain a Master of Science at Johns Hopkins University where she majored in Clinical Counseling.
Lindsey has worked in a variety of settings, such as correctional institutions, inpatient residential facilities, and outpatient facilities, with varying levels of outpatient services. She has much experience working with individuals suffering from substance abuse and dependency, co-occurring conditions, mood disorders, chronic pain, trauma, anxiety and depression, adjustment and life transitions, identity exploration, family and relational discord, grief and loss, and self-worth and esteem.
Using an eclectic approach, she ensured all individual needs were met with the appropriate therapeutic modalities and support. Believing in the Holism model of care, Lindsey focuses on treating the person rather than the symptoms alone while offering individuals the space needed to work towards personal growth, healing, life satisfaction, personal empowerment, and reaching one’s fullest potential.
As Director of Operations, Lindsey uses her experience to offer staff and all departments support, as they provide the best care for those struggling in the DC/Northern Virginia area. She is passionate about developing appropriate systems and leading a diverse team to ensure Verve provides evidence-based treatments using best practices for those struggling with mental health and substance abuse disorders.
